COURTYARD HOME
Coming Soon
How do you create a home that increases family wellbeing? What spatial wellbeing principles do you integrate and what elements do you embody? Six key spatial wellbeing principles were employed in the design of this kitchen, lounge and children’s rumpus room centered around two interior courtyards; routine-supportive spaces, connected spaces (via the two indoor-outdoor courtyards), grounded spaces, quiet spaces, low sensory spaces and primal spaces. The re-design of this family home has created an interplay of low-sensory, nature-based and grounded spaces for children and parents which support the way the family live in their home.
