A series of interior spaces designed around the notions of restraint and ritual; bathing spaces designed with the intention to have a restorative effect on the occupant and to refocus on the experiences of bathing. The interiors were designed around the philosophy of Wabi Sabi; colours conveyed by nature, light off-white tones and hues of blackish deep browns, an embrace of simple materials and textures that come from the earth (its subtly and irregularity), an ordering of space that honours the ritual of bathing (of separation, immersion and reincorporation), and elements of light and nature from the exterior to heighten a sense of interiority.
