This workbook is not an interior design manual or a self-reflection journal. Rather, this workbook sits at the intersections of these two separate ideas. It has been designed to help you understand more about yourself in relationship to the spaces and places you dwell within. It has been designed to help unearth elements of your personality and your temperament, offering an insight into the influence of your biological sensitivities and how your genes influence your everyday experiences in space. It also helps to reveal how you cope, connect, or thrive in some environments and not others. The intention of this workbook is for you to come to a better understanding of yourself, and of how your wellbeing is deeply impacted by the spaces around you, from your home, workplace, and the social and public spaces you experience and dwell within.
This workbook contains a series of reflective spatial exercises that are drawn from our Spatial Wellbeing Program, as well as a series of actionable tasks. These exercises encourage moments of intentional questioning and reflection about yourself and your spaces. At the beginning of each section we have included key interior design insights and knowledge.
